"Where it all went wrong"
Presented by Jason Reed Ph.D
Saturday, February 19 at 6:30PM
Fr. O’Hare Hall

Ideas have consequences, and historic mistakes in thinking have helped drive the culture away from Jesus Christ, who is the Truth.

To help us respond to this erroneous thinking, Professor Jason Reed of Divine Word College Seminary will walk us through the ideas that have shaped modern thinking, and offer ways we can counter falsehood with the mind of Christ and his Church.

Jason L. Reed earned a Ph.D. and M.A. in philosophy from Saint Louis University, an M.A. in apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary, and B.A. in philosophy from Iowa State University. From 2005 to 2011 he was Associate Professor of Philosophy at Southern Evangelical Seminary. In May 2011 he moved back to Iowa to be closer to family. After years of study, Dr. Reed came into full communion with the Catholic Church in August 2012. He is currently Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Divine Word College. He has delivered papers at the Society of Christian Philosophers, The Society of Medieval Logic and Metaphysics, the American Catholic Philosophical Association, the American Maritain Association, and contributed to Categories and What is Beyond and Wisdom and Wonder.
